Kazakhstan Tea, Coffee & Chocolate Culture

Hi everyone! I’m curious to learn more about the tea and chocolate culture in Kazakhstan.

Are tea and chocolate a big part of everyday life and local culture there? And how is coffee culture developing — are cafés and specialty coffee becoming increasingly popular?

I’m hoping to visit Kazakhstan again next year and would love to explore this side of the food culture. I’m particularly interested in visiting tea or chocolate factories, local producers, or even smaller family-run businesses.
Are there any interesting tea producers, chocolate makers, cafés, workshops, or small businesses that you would recommend visiting?

I’d love to hear from locals or anyone who has travelled around Kazakhstan and explored its food and beverage scene. 😊
