Finally got a callback after dragging on like a month

Gonna hype up this idea but also felt like I should vet it first. Got a call from a recruiter today and it was huge. Wasn’t hearing back from anything I applied to for the last three months. I think it boils down to formatting and clean layout so I finally decided to pull out my wallet a bit to get better help.

It started with me scouring for affordable resume writing services, tbh I was skeptical about the whole industry. I honestly worried that resume writing services cost a fortune before the first hour was even up. I’ve seen cheap resume writing services pop up that don’t actually look authentic. I needed to be careful before making a mistake.

I ended up looking at writing resume services that specialized in non-profit roles, which is my field. I stuck tight to resume writing services under $100 to keep things manageable since my savings aren’t massive. The team cleaned up my bullet points and fixed the objective statement.

It’s definitely not a guaranteed fix, but I had a lot of interviews scheduled with it. I know I’m lucky that luck was on my side but so far things are moving forward. If you guys are running into problems with the text blocks, let me know how you are handling the edits.

How does everyone else tackle the resume part of the application without getting rejected? Any tips on the wording side?
