I believe it's regional but I saw the deal they're having on the flyer and had to see if it's legit. You buy the ground beef for 3.99/lb and add on stop & shop brand lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, taco shells, jarred salsa and taco seasoning for free. My plan isn't even to make tacos with the ground beef but it seemed like too good of a deal.

I didnt get the shells or salsa because I didn't think I would use it but maybe I should have just because it's free 🤷‍♀️

I can't find someone to rent me a room and I don't know why?

I'm frustrated and feel hopeless with how my life is going at the moment. I have been living with a family member for the past few years but they are emotionally abusive and toxic. I've only been staying with them because I don't have anywhere else to go, but recently I've been kicked out and I am staying with a family friend. I've been looking for a room to rent for months now and haven't gotten anywhere. I make less than 20 an hour and can't afford a place on my own. There are rooms that are going for upwards of 1000 a month which is absurd and unaffordable for me. I've seen shitty rooms with narrow stairs up three flights in old new england houses, rooms without a kitchen and ones that are just dirty with cat hair all over, or if there's one thats decent they don't get back to me. I dont think i have the highest standards, just having an actual kitchen and not dirty. I've mentioned having financial help for first and last and it scares them off, even though it's supposed to be illegal to discriminate based on this. I have a job, ok credit (not up to 800s), I'm just awkward and introverted. Is that really that much of a deal breaker for a roommate? I don't think I'd be a bad roommate; I'll keep to myself and stay in the room mostly, but it feels like I cant catch a break.
