a1 level podcasts on Spotify?

Any recommendations for a1 level story podcasts on Spotify. I don’t really want ones that teach you the grammar, I just want to be able to listen to some simple german stories to help me improve my listening

jlec junior question

Hey all-
So my school does this program where they assign seniors to incoming middle/high schoolers for events like this and my mentee wants to know whether the junior category has awards for each topic, or just overall awards for the junior category itself. As in: is there a first place for senior history and a first place for junior history, or is there just an overall junior winner.
Please lmk so I can tell her haha. I’m honestly as clueless as she is

So if I can’t attend the gala, what do I do?

For personal reasons, I cannot attend the gala despite being shortlisted.
Do I like… need to inform them about that? 😃I really don’t understand the process

If anyone could lmk that’d be great

Remember that shortlists are topic wise

I’m not fully certain about this, but I think shortlists are topic wise. They need a certain amount of people from each topic to win an award, hence they probably need a certain amount of shortlists.

That being said, if you didn’t get shortlisted, please don’t feel disheartened. It’s entirely possible that your essay was marginally better than those of other topics, but your topic was crammed with many applicants. You’ve written well. You did good.

finished my interview for JLEC

okay so in case anyone saw my previous post, the JLI did grant me another interview attempt and this time i completed it on a laptop.

they asked me the same question three times in a row...

so heres a part im a bit worried about: the AI asked me to give a specific example for something, and I totally blanked and wasn't sure what to say. i forgot my example in my essay and so i just said "it benefits us on a larger and broader scale, globally" (in a more professional manner) but now I wished I used that example :( it would've helped a lot. am i cooked? i think i answered everything else fine. for the question that I got 3 times, I basically said the same thing each time since it was the same question.

ahahahahaaaa im so stressed about this lmao

i did science and tech q2 btw. did anyone else do it??

JLEC interview problems

I know a lot of people have talked about this but let me give my experience.

I wasn’t able to give the interview. I tried from my phone but I couldn’t hear the ai interviewer and couldn’t unmute myself or do anything after it said “if you’re ready let’s continue!” So I refreshed my page, which made it auto submit my interview. I tried again from my iPad and that still didn’t work (it had a keyboard attachment) and now I’ve reached max attempts and can’t try again

I’m so frustrated with this. I submitted a ticket but haven’t gotten a response. I don’t know what to do now and I’m honestly quite stressed about it. Can anyone help?
