required to come in for 1 hour meetiong then leave
Fairly certain when I was hired, I was told they are required to pay a minimum of 4 hours if scheduled less than 4 hours and they could not have us come in for small shifts. But that was almost 15 years ago. Our store is now making us come in for a 1 hour meeting every month after closing on Saturdays. Some of us live almost an hour away and are being expected to drive 2 hours total for a 1 hour meeting monthly, isn't this against policy or does walmart not restrict that anymore?
The manager refuses to actually put it on the schedule. He said if we don't show up we will be coached, even though it isn't officially scheduled.
