The Ride of Silence is an annual, free, slow-paced (maximum 12 mph) international bicycle ride that honours cyclists who have been killed or injured on public roads. The event raises awareness about the dangers cyclists face on the roads, particularly in relation to motor vehicle traffic. Riders wear helmets and ride in silence to sites in Richmond Hill where ghost bikes memorialize young cyclists who have lost their lives.

• Meeting Location: McConaghy Centre (10100 Yonge St)
• Meeting Time: 6:30 PM
• Starting Time: 7:00 PM

The planned route will bring cyclists past two ghost bike locations, up to the Bayview/Elgin Mills area, and back to the McConaghy Centre.
