Has anyone recently visited Schengen area and can share their immigration experience

Documents reached consulate on 6th may,

Called for rebiometrics on 15th may,(10 mins work)

Visa printed on 19th may.

Well it was my 3rd application, had asked for longer duration(submitted whole year insurance) but request wasn't accepted ,received only 25 days multi entry .

the documents and process was good.

Anyone who recently travelled to Frankfurt airport can share their experience for immigration and ees !!

Has anyone mentioned a long stay in a big city like 20 days in Berlin. Along with day travels to nearby cities.

My previous 2 Schengen visa were Family visit. This time I have an independent travel plan and accomodation booked.

Has anyone used a longer city itinerary?

These websites are not properly maintained or supported. The call center is of no help at all.

I couldn't get my tickets despite the payment successfully. The website says failed to send the ticket to your email. Try later .

Customer service said, try after 2 hours. Can you imagine.

I tried for 5-6 hours.

Still no help.

Useless Air India website

I recently applied for my third Germany Schengen type C visa.. as tourist...on May 5 2026 form vfs gurgaon

My earlier 2 applications were Type C family visit. Where my spouse sponsered me and provided verflichtungacklureng.

Both visa were approved in 2025.

one used, one unused due to family emergency. is this ok for asking long duration visa following cascade?

I had mentioned in my cover letter as it's genuinely so that my husband is not available as he will travelling somewhere else for project work, so that's why it's my independent tourism visa. and I had enough bank balance. and FD, investment, job proofs, hotel bookings for whole. I'm hoping they give me longer duration visa this time. im really looking forward to traveling and I often travel like that once a year for self growth.

I just wanted to be sure is someone had similar case where they changed from family visit to tourist visit.??

is my reason ok since my spouse won't be available in Germany to host me this time?
