What are your DZs / Jumps on your skydiving bucket list?

I’m creating a personal list of places I wanna jump at at least once in my life. Not really looking for just “best dropzones” or stuff like that, more those places where the location itself, the view or just the whole experience makes the jump kinda special. I’m thinking about things like:

Pyramids Egypt
Blue Hole Water Jump
Hot Air Balloon Jump
Active volcano somewhere in the background
HALO / high altitude jumps
Unique aircraft (like the DC-3 at Perris) or exits
Anything that’s just iconic, weird or an once-in-a-lifetime jump

Basically I wanna build a stupidly long “places I need to jump before I die” list.
So what’s on your list? And what have you already jumped that you’d say is an absolute must?

Starting AFF soon and the pre-overthinking is hitting HARD. Am I trippin?

I’m starting my AFF ground school in a few days, and honestly, up until a few weeks ago, I was just pure hyped.
But now my brain has entered ultra-overthinking mode.
I’ve always been the type of person who analyzes everything and runs scenarios in my head, but lately, it’s like my mind is actively working against me.
Ever since I booked the course, it feels like every time I open my phone, I see bad news. First that crash in the US, then another jump plane crash in France just recently...

Logically, I know it’s just confirmation bias and selective perception because the course is coming up.
I’m usually not that superstitious person, but right now my brain is trying to trick me into thinking these crashes are some kind of bad omen or a "sign."
I‘ve encountered that feeling also in several daily life situations, like everything is connected to the starting AFF, even if it‘s not related to skydiving.

I know people post about pre-jump anxiety all the time, but did anyone else get stuck specifically on this feeling of looking for "signs" or omens, even though you know better? How hard did that specific type of overthinking hit you before your first jumps, and how did you snap out of it?

I know, there is a big chance that I‘ll read my own post in a few months (if I got my license) to laugh about myself and my brain, but right know it feels insane.

Valuables at DZ

Heading to DZ soon for AFF and trying to figure out the protocol for my stuff.

I'm a bit lost on what to do with my phone and wallet while up in the air.
Are lockers a common thing at most dropzones, or is there usually an "unwritten rule" for where people dump their stuff?
Really don't want to stress about my stuff while I'm trying to focus on my jumps.

How do you guys handle your daily items when you're there for the day?
