co-op not yet approved on nuworks

even though i submitted my co-op two weeks ago under the experiential learning tab on nuworks, my advisor has not yet approved it. it starts tomorrow - will there be any issues if i still attend my first day even though it has not yet been approved??

my advisor knows that i have a co-op as i already emailed her about it and she replied

Falsely accused of using AI for LaTeX - What do I do??

i am currently in a class that involves using LaTeX. i recently submitted an assignment where i surrounded each expression with brackets like \[ and \], and my professor just commented on my work suggesting that i copied the expressions from an LLM.

i would like to say that i did NOT do that. i wrote the expressions in a temporary overleaf file which i've then deleted (twice, so it's not recoverable) and i only add \[ and \] as a stylistic choice to separate my expressions from each other. i explained this in my response but have not yet received a reply.

he gave me a 90/100 on the assignment, so i'm assuming that it is not a serious concern. but i am worried about how to prove that i wrote the expressions on my own if i do not have this overleaf file.

has anyone else had any incidents similar to this? what should i do moving forward in this situation?

thank you!

4th year CS + design :)

much harder than i thought it would be but i did it! never give up! the offer i accepted was a co-op in my desired industry, pay range, and city (not boston). this graph is a little inaccurate as i've still been getting interview requests even after accepting my offer (on the last day of the semester!!!) and i also received what was basically a second offer after my first one, but it captures the gist of it. i can finally relax now!!! 😭

hello! i managed to secure a co-op in new york city for this fall, which means i will have to cancel my summer 2 and fall semester housing.

if i cancel these housing placements, will my guaranteed housing for spring 27 be compromised? has anyone had any experience with this? thanks in advance!!
