What I’m trying to figure out is what actually helps in real life.

Medium firm? Firm? Hybrid? Memory foam? Zoned support? Pressure relief? A lot of the advice seems to assume all back pain is the same, and I’m pretty sure it isn’t. Some mattresses sound supportive until real people mention sagging, hips sinking too much, bad spinal alignment, or waking up with even more lower back pain than before.

Best mattress for back pain, or at least one that doesn’t make mornings worse

I’m back in the very annoying stage of mattress shopping where every brand claims to be “great for back pain,” but the more I read, the less that phrase seems to mean anything. My issue is mostly lower back pain and that stiff, tight feeling when I first get out of bed, like my mattress spent the whole night quietly working against me. It usually eases up once I’ve been moving around, which makes me think my sleep setup is definitely part of the problem.

Best mattress for a heavy person who’s tired of mattresses giving up early

I’ve noticed a lot of mattress recommendations feel fine in theory until the person sleeping on them actually puts enough weight on the bed to test whether the support is real. Then suddenly you start seeing sagging, soft spots, weak edges, and all the usual disappointment. If you’re a heavier sleeper and found a mattress that stayed supportive over time, what was it?

Anyone here had good luck with a Serta hybrid?

I'm trying to get a read on Serta hybrids specifically, not just Serta in general, because that brand has approximately one million models and half the internet seems to be talking about different beds under the same name. If you’ve owned one, how was the support, motion isolation, and durability after the first few months?

Purple Hybrid review

I’ve tried Purple in store and still can’t decide whether the grid feels genius or just very good at being memorable. If you’ve actually slept on the Purple Hybrid for a while, how did it go? I’m especially curious about side sleeping, pressure relief, and whether the bounce feels good or just strange.

Sealy mattress review from people who’ve actually lived with one

Sealy is one of those brands that’s been around forever, which somehow makes it harder to judge, not easier. There are so many models, and the reviews are all over the place depending on where you look. If you’ve owned a Sealy, did it actually hold up, or was it one of those mattresses that felt fine for a while and then quietly started giving up on you?
