Hey all, first ever post! Currently live on LI with my Fiancée and 2 young kids. We are looking to move in the near future, and considering NJ for a fresh start and hopefully cheaper cost of living! Wondering what the best towns for a young family are with affordable homes and good schools.

I work in the financial district in Manhattan, only have to commute in 2x a week. Would like to keep my total commute time to under 2 hours. Keep in mind it currently takes me about 2.5 from door to door. Appreciate any tips or info, our housing budget is around 650k or less.
