hi again! this book is so nostalgic for me! it’s about a girl who helps I believe a swan get better near a lake behind a hospital. if I’m not mistaken, a boy with cancer ends up wanting to adventure with her. they end up liking each other but the book ends with I believe the boys surgery for cancer went great! and the swan successfully flew away? Does anyone know what this could be?

For the life of me, I can’t remember the name of this book. It’s a bad woman (woman of color/black), and a white man (radio host/producer) and I think he starts to fall for her, but it’s really interesting because he’s doing an interview and present time talking about their love life the past. Does anyone know what this is?
