Hi everyone,

I picked up my 2027 UX300h from the dealership exactly 2 months ago, and for over a month now I've been dealing with an issue with the windshield wipers that I can't figure out.

When the driver-side wiper is returning to its rest position, it leaves a thin film of water in some areas of the windshield. It makes it hard to see, and the harder it rains, the worse it gets. It's honestly pretty distracting while driving.

I recorded this video showing exactly what's happening.

What I've tried so far:

• Cleaned the wiper blades thoroughly, thinking it might be dirt or residue. No change.
• Talked to the service manager and was told to turn on the defroster on hot when it rains and that should fix it. That doesn't seem like a reasonable solution to me. I shouldn't have to run the heat every time it rains on a car that's only 2 months old.

Has anyone else experienced this?
