Self locking NAB adapters

I’m looking for a solution for an NAB style adapter that is self locking. The spindles on my machine don’t have an integrated locking mechanism and I can’t find much information on self locking adapters. Does anyone know anything about them or where to get them?

Update: TEAC 7010S

I purchased this TEAC 7010 I asked some questions about the other day, I got it home and the VU imbalance issue was luckily quite simple. At some point over this machines life someone pulled the outer knobs off of all the controls, when they reinstalled them they never made sure to put them on in the correct orientation. This lead to them never quite balancing. I realized this when i put together that they should probably have an even throw and not more like a 4:1. Since I corrected that the left and right channels work as they should. I cleaned the heads with some alcohol and Q tips but they are still somewhat dirty as you can see in the image. I’m wondering if there’s a better way to clean them that might get them looking better? They sound pretty good and I demagnetized the tape path. I’m currently working to re balance the line and mic functions as they have the same issue as the output. I got this machine for 350 with a black plastic reel that isn’t shown. However the tape is full of holes and the edges are rough so I’m contemplating just throwing the tape away and using it as a take up reel. I also need new adapters as these ones are Jerry rigged and held on by zip ties so if anyone has any recommendations for moderately priced adapters please let me know. Thanks for all the help

TEAC ar60

Looking to buy this AR60 to add to my collection. I have a 4010 and looking to upgrade to 10.5 inch reels. The owner sent me this video of the machine’s functions. It appears it may be lagging on reversing functions but this may be a characteristic of the larger reels. The VUS are also not moving but I’m not sure if that may just be from poor recording levels. Do you guys see anything alarming with this machine? This is only my second deck so I’m still learning what to look for

Over exposure and VND filter exposure help

I shoot basically exclusively outside for construction, which means very harsh lighting conditions paired with extremely bright high vis colors. I shoot slog 3 out of a Sony A7IV and I’m not sure how to properly expose these colors and lighting environments. I always use lens hoods and sometimes a matte box. I own one VND but when I use it I get a pretty strong tint like color that I’m not sure how to fix. This is shown in the first image. When I shoot without it however I have to either drop my ISO as low as possible, or close my aperture all the way and sometimes I have to do both. This results in grainy/boxy video like the second image. I’m not sure how to fix this or shoot it correctly out of camera in the first place. Any advice would be appreciated

Extreme condition camera mount

Hey guys, I film for my family construction company and I’m looking for a way to mount a camera to various pieces of heavy equipment, with this obviously comes with some pretty extreme conditions like vibrations and shocks. I can’t really figure out a good way to do this. I’m thinking of fabricating one and using the heaviest grade magnets I can find but there must be a more secure and or better way. Go pro is certainly an option but I really don’t care for the look they have as I’m more into tighter shots that they can’t really produce that I’m aware of. If anyone has any ideas on this or anything they’ve seen that you can buy any input would be appreciated. I’ve attached a photo of my setup and those of the various pieces of equipment I’m looking to mount it to.
