I’m a nuclear engineer by day and a solo dev nights/weekends and I built something called API Odyssey. It is community discovery and direct-funding platform for AI builders.

How it works:

AI projects are hard to find, and even harder to fund unless you’re already well-connected. API Odyssey should give builders a place to post their projects, get discovered, and receive direct support from people who believe in what they’re making — with zero platform cut. Stripe goes straight to the builder (in other words, I’m not planning to monetize this).

It’s currently in open beta, so things are still being shaped. That said, the core loop works — you can list a project, browse the feed, and fund what you think matters.

What I’d love from this community:

- If you have an AI project (API, tool, model wrapper, whatever), post it and see what happens
- Brutal feedback on UX, onboarding, anything that felt off
- Ideas on what a platform like this is missing
