New Hog mama, is this ok substrate?
Just got my first Hog last night. Breeder told me no aspen and to use something coco and or chips, so I bought zoo med coconut chip blocks and got them wet, hand rung them out and put them in there. I fluffed it all with my hands, but I haven’t seen my guy burrowing at all? He looks like he tried a few times but kept pulling back up. He slept on top all night in the back corner. Should I use a different substrate?
