ATV-4K sound delay

Hey, so I’m facing a bit weird, but definitely annoying issue with my Apple TV 4K.

So, once I turn it on, it works all fine for some time - sometimes it’s 30mins and sometimes 3 hours.

However, once some time passes, the audio starts to be delayed. Not much, but definitely noticeable. Like 0.5s to 1s max.

The only way of fixing it is either turning off/on the whole device or going into options -> sound -> flicking audio mode to 16bit/automatic. It doesn’t matter which one is chosen, it’s a matter of flicking it to the other one. 16bit -> automatic or automatic -> 16bit.

It doesn’t take too much time, however if you have to fix it 4-5 times a day, it definitely starts to be annoying.

So couple words about my setup -

TV: LG CX

Audio: Samsung soundbar (don’t remember the exact model) connected via HDMI to TV

Philips Hue Sync Box 8k connected to TV via ultra-fast HDMI cable, ATV connected to the Sync Box, with soundbar connected to TV.

I doubt that it’s the sync box causing the delays, because I’m also using the Xbox Series X connected to the sync box and it works absolutely fine.

Any idea how to work this out? Is it possible to plug soundbar directly to ATV? Do you think that would potentially fix it? Or is it rather something software wise to set in ATV’s options?

TIA for all your answers!

Micro-stuttering „fix”

Hey, so to everyone who’s been facing - just like me - annoying micro-stuttering in games, do yourself a favor and turn off the Xbox FSE.

I don’t know why. I don’t know how. It just fucking works and the difference is extreme.

AC: Odyssey with FSE On : 1600x1000, mix of low-to-mid settings, stuttering like crazy on simple camera turn, barely playable.

AC Odyssey with FSE Off : native resolution, every setting maxed out, keeping completely stable fps even when there’s lots of going on on the screen.

Again - I’m not THAT technical in PC gaming, so I have zero idea what’s causing the difference, especially considering the FSE was meant to make games run better.

So, how about you? Have you experienced anything similar?

Path of Exile 2?

Anyone playing or tried playing PoE2 on LeGo, especially LeGo2 (Z2E)? The last time I’ve tried it (about 6-7 months ago), it was pretty messy experience, I wasn’t able to find settings which allowed me to find a compromise between looks and performance. I think (or hope, rather) that this was my lack of experience and knowledge how to set it properly.

Is there anyone playing actively and wouldn’t mind sharing all your settings?

Games you can run on high/ultra details

So as an owner of LeGo2 (Z2E version), I’ve been recently on a personal quest of trying out many new/new-ish games to check on their performance, with most of them requiring plenty of compromises of low-med-high settings to keep it running smooth-ish, so it made me think about question below.

What are the best optimized, zero issues games that you can comfortably play on high/ultra details on your LeGo and not care about the choppy performance?

I’m talking indies, AA and AAA titles, not necessarily new. Just things that you enjoyed graphically while not compromising performance.
