Boston fern help

Hi guys, I need some help with my boston fern. Bought it 2 months ago and it was sitting in my bedroom on the north facing window, i was trying to give her as much light as i could, opening the blinds during sunset etc. I water it whenever the couple top centimeters of soil are dry. I always bottom watered her, pot has drainage holes and I'm always waiting for as much water to drip after watering before i put it back in the pot. It was growing beautifully until the heat waves happened last week. She started to have dry fronds and i pruned her a little bit and gave her a good drink. I was out of the house for 5 days now and after that time she is looking worse and worse everyday. First two photos are from today and the 3rd is from when I bought it.

What am i doing wrong

Hi guys, its my 3rd attempt to grow scallions from store bought scallions and they are not growing at all (the one on the right is just an onion that started sprouting so I put it in soil). When I buy scallions I put them in water for couple days so they can grow new roots and then I put them in just a regular potting soil and like 20% perlite mix. They are sitting on the south-eastern window and the temperature in my apartment is around 22 degrees. Its been 3 days and they look the same. Please help
