Anyone else do worse on exams this sem (exams are harder)?

Hey everyone,

For context, this is BEL faculty.

Just as the title says, I feel like exams have gotten a lot harder this semester. I was on top of all my work and studied a few hours a day every day during the semester, but I did not do nearly as well as I thought on my exams as when I got them back I got a little under 70% on all of them bar one where I got a very high mark.

I'm in no way complaining as I did manage three 6's and a 7, but when I was looking at previous exams for the subjects I did, they were much easier than this semesters exams.

Has anyone else noticed the exams have become harder or is it just me? Can anyone weigh in from other faculties?

FINM1415 final

Did anyone feel like they got royally fucked over by that final exam? I expected it do be different from the previous final exams because of the new lecturer, but also I assumed that it would be similar to the sample exam which was presumably made by the new lecturer. But that was nothing like the sample exam at all. Or any prior exams. A few people told me they think they got less than 50% and one person I know who studies like 24/7 said she thinks she got around 70%, which is about where I think I sit. Someone even told me they think they got less than 30%. What the hell happened?
