Worried about finding a job in Ontario in 2030 for the Ontario Learn and Stay Grant

So I’m starting my first year of an accelerated nursing program in the fall this year so I will graduate December 2029ish and I keep seeing posts about people being unable to find nursing jobs here in Ontario and I was wondering about the people who have applied to the OLASG. Would it be possible to find a job during that time and if not, what would you do?

Can I create a TFSA account under my name reserved for my 16 yr old brother and transfer the money to him when he turns 18?

For context, I am 18 and have started investing for the both of us back in March. I understand the contribution limit for this year is $7000 and am certain that I will not be contributing that much for both of us until December. However, since I did not do much research into this kind of situation, I was wondering if there are any legal penalties, risks for me, or anything like that that I should be aware of before going too far in.

Advice

18F I started investing back in March and this is how I’m doing as of now. I’m looking for advice, tips, and also if I should invest in individual stocks as well or any different successful ETFs.
I started this with ChatGPT, mainly focusing on long-term, diversified ETF investments while contributing $100-$200 per month.
Since I’m still new at this, I thought I’d seek out advice before I’m too far in.

Accelerated BScN at Pembroke Campus

I got accepted into the Accelerated BScN program (3 years and 4 months) at Algonquin college in the Pembroke campus in January 2026. I’m 18 and and applied because I don’t have the greatest marks (around 80 average) and was wondering if there was anyone else my age who have also gotten accepted there, where they’re staying etc. I am originally from Ottawa and have lived there my whole life and have been trying to contact landlords in Pembroke but have been getting little to no responses for the past three months. I’ve heard people talking about the BScN program at Pembroke but I wasn’t sure if they were talking about a regular 4-year BScN at Pembroke (if they offered that – I’m not sure) and just wanted to know if there are others who are talking the accelerated program.
