Hey all! I have an R1000 that worked fine except that the left pinch roller did not engage. I popped it open and replaced the blue gear, like always.

After I put it all back together, the head no longer spins. The pinch roller works at least haha.

I have pulled it all back apart three times now, checked every single aligmnet point with a feeler, checked and cleaned all connectors, and cleaned the mode selector for good measure. After quadruple checking my alignment I reassembled and have the same issue.

Tape is ingested and pinched to the head, which sits still, which causes it to release the tape back to the cassette due to load error.

Y'all.. What did I do wrong, and does anyone have any advice?
