What are everyone's opinion on a no spinners or flippers league?
It would be interesting to see what designs teams these days could put forward when the objectively better spinner or flippers are not allowed.

How to cut this acacia with a jigsaw (reverse cut carbon steel blade)
I am attempting to cut this 18mm (0.7") acacia hardwood timber panel with a Bosch PST PEL jigsaw using a high carbon steel 4" 10tpi reverse cut jigsaw blade.
The problem is as soon as my blade hits the wood it bites and jumps out as you can see by my entry attempts in the photo. I have the oscillation at 0 and have attempted at low and high speeds.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
