What if….

We all got together and camped at local national parks instead? We could collaborate together and make little “hubs” of mini Roos by filling out a survey of where everyone is located. I wouldn’t mind organizing this, but obviously I couldn’t attend all the mini Roos.

I just think it would be a great way for us to still come together, even within our local Roovian community, support the national parks and even get some time spent with nature ❤️

I only bring this up because when Roo got cancelled due to the storm and a lot of us were already down in Manchester we spent a few nights at the park nearby. There was even a live band and they let anyone get on their equipment and play! It was fun to walk around to different campsites and hang out with people, we even organized a group hike one day!

Because of the news.. I'm making Psy Guy - Mr.Mime Open Edition! ANYONE can claim one & WILL get one! More info in description.

It's a little sad to know that Bonnaroo 2027 won't be happening. However, I've spent the past year painting and working extra hard to bring Mr. Mime to the farm for you guys next summer! (not gonna spoil the surprise)

In order to help lift our spirits up just a tiny bit, I decided to create next year's print open editioned. Yes, they will still be numbered, however, I'm taking a "headcount" on how many I should order before I begin making them.

If you fill out this Google Survey, your copy will automatically be reserved for you! (Just make sure to provide a follow-up email so I can get your shipping address and such around May next year).

I'll probably post this Survey a few more times (as I've been requested in the past to do so), and will leave it open till around December. Feel free to share with your Roo crew as well!

Happy ROOOOOO~

It's always so fun going back to old projects. I can't believe computer graphics have improved so much in such a short time!

Bonnablues hitting extra hard? Recieve a Psy Guy in the mail! And reserve your copy of Mr.Mime when he drops later this summer :)

Hey everyone!! What a wonderful weekend that was. Super happy and thankful that I came to the farm with the last 300 prints, and now I'm down to the final 100!!

Since the community really missed the art on the farm, and I have so may of these left, I would love to offer you a chance to catch the final 100 Psy Guys before I finish up Mr.Mime! Please feel out this Google survey, and it'll be sent your way by the end of the month! Please consider tipping, as this project is FULLY funded by the community!

HAPPY ROOO ❤️

Looking to give away these two pieces this year on the farm (read info for more)

Hello everyone! It’s your friendly neighborhood Bonnaroo artist here looking to give away two of these pieces.

My network is very small for this festival, so I’m reaching out to the subreddit community. Does anyone know any sort of…raffle I can donate these too during the festival? Ideally, I’d love to be able to give these to some sort of raffle that is raising funds for a supportive cause, but I’m down to give it to smaller raffles! Would super appreciate any info anyone has to help me get rid of these in a more meaningful way than just finding a random person and saying “here ya go.”

Thanks everyone, can’t wait to see you soon!!!!

Since 2019, this community has fully funded The Psy Guy Project with donations…Thank You!! 🫶🏻

While I can’t bring Mr.Mime onto the farm this year (but will 100% do another free art in the mail sign up when he’s finished), I’m spending my weekend individually packing the rest of my Psy Guys to hand out!

Originally, I had about 50-100 of each Psy Guys saved to sell on my Etsy. Mostly just incase I didn’t get enough donations to continue the project. But overtime, this community has donated so much into this project- I am fully able to turn around and hand the rest of these bad boys away for free this year!!!

Thank you to everyone who’s donated. It’s truly a project I look forward every year!!

SEE YOU SOON AND HAPPY ROO!!!!

GradImages Employees: Be Aware

I recently just started as a photographer with GradImages. For the longest time they were trying to get their employees to believe they're 1099. In my last interview, the regional manager said "because some complained, now we have to make you W2." I signed a W2 form. However, I've learned that there's so many employees who have been with this company (for over 10-15 years!) who still believe they're 1099. You're not. You're a W2 employee and you deserve to be compensated the full amount. You are being misclassified.

They are NOT tracking your hours correctly, and they're refusing to pay me the correct amount. They've cold fired me, won't acknowledge I was terminated, and completly ghosted me since I started asking more about how my pay works. Once I started to ask questions, they locked me out of the HR portal where I can view my paystub- but they still expected me to show up and work?

They like to say "you only get paid $100 per event, we don't pay hourly." Which okay, I guess they can legally do that- but when you take into consideration the driving hours, the hours you spend prepping for events, waiting for events, communicating to managers, spending money for gas, you actually get less than minimum wage. They refuse to pay for ANY hours outside of their "100$ event fee (for four hours)."

If you know someone who works for this company, please let them know. This is an awful awful company, and I'm not one to blast. But they PREACH "professionalism," yet the MANAGEMENT IS THE LEAST PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE IVE MET.

Anyway, I'm filing with my state labor board. This past weekend I worked 50 hours, they only claimed I worked 32.

Edit: Also, as a customer, do NOT buy from them. They are literally hiring ANYBODY. People who have never picked up a camera are expected to take your graduates' photos. Images are constantly blurry, underexposed, poor quality. If you are an experienced photographer, they make you do multiple positions while being labeled as an "assistant" when you first start out. They do NOT pay you for that either.
