Hi! We will be in Tromso around mid-October, staying at Scandic Ishavshotel. What are the must do attractions, restaurants, and things to do that time of year? Bonus points if the restaurants have gluten-free options due to an allergy! We of course have Northern lights tours booked, and have looked into the cable car, however, seeing mixed reviews on the cable car due to construction? Any insights into if the cable car is worth it with the construction going on would be great!

We also want to know the best locally owned souvenir shops to avoid the mass-produced touristy shops. Suggestions on other fun, local shops and boutiques would be appreciated as well!
