Byoma - your thoughts? Should I add anything else to my routine?

I’m really trying to start looking after my skin (better late than never I guess at age 32!) and narrowed it down to Byoma or Medicube.

I did some research and opted for Byoma, purchasing a bundle of 5 products:
Creamy Jelly Cleanser
Hydrating Milky Toner
Phyto-Mucin Glow Serum
Moisturising Gel Cream
Ultralight Face Fluid SPF50

And in addition I bought the Bio-Collagen Radiance Facial Mask, which I’m yet to try.

I’m only 5 days in, but I’ve been using the bundle products twice a day and so far I’m seeing a huge difference. My skin feels hydrated and smooth, and I only have 2 large noticable spots and 2 under the skin, compared to multiple spots varying in size and painfulness across the central area of my face (cheeks/nose/brow area).

Some friends have told me Byoma isn’t great, or have said it hasn’t worked well for them etc.

Just wondering from some people who are pretty into skincare, how do you find it compares to other brands? For the money I paid (about £60) I feel it’s quite good, but probably not quite able to be compared to some of the high end brands.
And is there anything else I should be adding into my routine?

Seems impossible to get a post approved in here, but I have some questions about the wait list.

I’ll put it in a comment if this gets approved.

Joined the waitlist, what should I expect?

Hoping to attend our first ultra event, flying over to Miami from the UK.

I joined the waitlist at 16:00 (BST) when it opened.
Just wondering what to expect next or when should I expect to find out if I have been taken off the waitlist.

Are we likely to get tickets?
Will it cost more than the $419.26 each that’s been pre-authorised on my card or is that the fixed costing tier?

Hesitation to book the flights or accommodation before tickets are confirmed, but also don’t want to find out 3 days before the event and then can’t fly in for it, that’s all. Thanks.

2 pens, and 20lb down in 3 months🙌🏻

Just documenting my first journey update.

I started my Mounjaro journey in May, I did 4 consistent weeks and lost just under a stone. I then had a 4/5week break due to going on holiday and having lots of busy social plans in a short space of time.

I’ve been back on it for the last 4 weeks and honestly, really happy with my progress.

Planning another 2 weeks at 2.5, then I’ll up it to 5.

Very easy to get caught up on the “why am I not losing weight as fast as this person” - but we’re all on different journeys. Be kind to yourself, and take breaks if you need them. In all honesty putting on 3lb in a month while overindulging at an all inclusive for 15 nights, and basically stuffing my face the rest of the time was less than I expected!

Looking forward to seeing the difference when I increase my dose in a few weeks after my next trip abroad ☀️

Can I order a 5mg pen, and take 2 x 2.5mg doses from it initially, then up it to 5mg for the last 3 doses?

Would I be ok to order the 5mg pen, and from it take a 2.5mg dose the first week, and the same again the second week (so split the dose by only turning the pen halfway for the first 2 weeks) and then take 3 weeks at 5mg, from the same pen, when I return from my holiday?

I’m about to finish my current 2.5 pen, and after a few months I feel it’s time to up to 5mg as I’ve found it noticeably less effective this month.

My first dose of the new pen would be due the day before I go on holiday, and I’m a little apprehensive about upping my dose and then being out the country for a week, as people say the side effects can return when they up a dose. I only had heartburn and nausea for a few days with my first 2 doses of 2.5, never had anything since so I hope I’d be the same, but I just don’t want to risk a few days of my trip.

I have a spare needle from my current pen, so I have enough heads to do it. This was the only thing I figured may be an issue providing the pen works exactly the same, so I’d be good in that area.

Worse side effects with the golden dose?

I started my journey almost 5 weeks ago, having taken 4 doses from my first pen I was advised by a friend (and read online) about the golden dose.

I’m only on 2.5mg, haven’t had many side effects (other than insane heartburn in week 1) - I’m due to take my next dose tomorrow evening and wondered if anyone has experienced any different side effects with the ‘golden dose’ to their regular measured dose in the pen?

I’ve seen medical advice is to discard of the pen, with reasons provided basically saying that side effects can be more extreme as it’s not a carefully measured dose and the ratios may be off, resulting in too much or not enough Mounjaro being administered.

Obviously they’ll say not to use it as they want me to purchase more of it from them, but by taking the 5th dose it’ll save me spending another £170 this month and means I can do 5 weeks on 2.5 before jumping up to 5mg, as I feel 4 weeks is too short but 8 weeks is too long, so I’d like to try it.
Reality is if I’m likely to suffer side effects then I’ll give it a miss as I’m going abroad this week and want to be well, but also don’t want to binge. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
