Grey on brass coin.
Hi! I did look a lot around posts about this specific issue but I couldn't find one that matches exactly mine. It has to do with Brass coin embossing.
I have a F2 Ultra and I am using the official brass coins. I am using a depth map 8 bit. (attached)
The engrave itself looks good and I am happy with it but the problem is that almost at the very end the coin becomes literally grey. It stays brass color the whole process and turns "grey" almost at the very end.
I do realize there's the need of a polish pass and so on but all the examples I have seen online have some residues and oxidation and NOT the entire coin being grey.
I started this journey 2 days ago so I am extremely newbie about this process although I spent a whole day trying to understand what is wrong with the settings (reduced pulse, power, intermediate cleanup passes and so on)
Can anyone point me into the right direction?
