Ngl Deca events are ahh

Here me our real quick though. I feel like the events we have aren't really that reflective of actual business presentations/events compared to other preprofessional clubs at the high-school level.

Deca has probably the BEST atmosphere and overall organization of any high-school club especially with its position at the global stage and how competitive everything is overall, this is just all critique of mine.

I feel like we desperately NEED more technical events and prepared events that don't just emulate roleplays in a sense. For example, I feel like there's not really a time in the sectors that would employ DECA competitors (Think of Tech, finance, IB, Consulting, Law) where you would need to create a case study sort of presentation on the spot. I DO feel like this problem is solved in Team Decision Making Roleplays as you do get enough time, but for technical roleplays like ACT 10 mins in nowhere near enough to create the visuals you need.

Compared to other clubs like BPA or FBLA that have events like financial math or economic research, DECA kinda lacks.

Overall, DECA > other clubs in the sense of competition and community, but other clubs edge us in their event offerings and how it prepares you for careers.
