19M looking for a room / roommate in Casablanca (by the end of this month) 🚨

Hey everyone,

I’m a 19-year-old student (turning 20 soon) moving to Casablanca by the end of this month for my studies.
I am currently looking for an affordable room to rent, or a roommate (ideally around 21 years old, student or young professional) who wants to team up, find a place together, and split the expenses.

For me, the most important things are:

Mutual Respect: Respecting each other's privacy and personal space.

Peace & Quiet: No loud noises or disturbance at night, as I need a quiet environment to focus on my studies.

Cleanliness: Everyone cleans up after themselves immediately so we can keep the place in good condition and comfortable to live in.

Cooperation: Helping each other out whenever needed to maintain a good vibe.

If you have an available room, or if you're also looking for a roommate and want to team up, please leave a comment or slide into my DMs so we can discuss the details and budget.

Thanks in advance, and any advice is highly appreciated! 🙏✨

EDIT: Since I will be studying at the FSJES Ain Chock (Economics faculty), I am specifically looking for places that are close or have easy commute access to it, such as Oulfa, Ain Chock, Inara, or surrounding neighborhoods.

Looking for a roommate moving to Casablanca soon / already there (19M)

Hey everyone,
I'm a 19-year-old student and graphic designer currently planning to relocate to Casablanca soon for my university studies at the University of Aïn Chock.

Instead of just searching for a random roommate blindly, I thought it would be great to connect with someone on the exact same mission so we can plan a flatshare together.

To be completely honest about my motivation, things have been tough at home lately, and I really need a total change of environment. Moving far away is a big step, but it's what I need right now to focus on my well-being and clear my mind. I'm ready to dive into the deep end, fight for my future, and grind hard balancing both work and my studies.

What I’m looking for:
I'm looking for someone who shares these same interests and is driven by a similar mindset—someone responsible, clean, and ready to hustle alongside me to split an apartment in Casablanca.

Location-wise: I'm aiming for areas like Oulfa, Hay Hassani, or close to Route d'El Jadida to be near the faculty, keep rent reasonable, and have easy access to transport.

If you’re in the same boat or looking for a roommate with this kind of energy, shoot me a DM and let's talk!

Looking for a roommate from Agadir moving to Casablanca soon (19M)

Hey everyone,
I’m a 19-year-old student and graphic designer currently living here in Agadir, and I’m planning to relocate to Casablanca soon for my university studies.
Instead of searching for a random roommate blindly in Casa, I thought it would be great to connect with someone from Agadir who is on the exact same mission so we can plan the move together.

To be completely honest about my motivation, things have been tough at home lately, and I really need a total change of environment. Moving far away from my parents is a big step, but it's what I need right now to focus on my well-being and clear my mind.

Ideally, we can meet up here in Agadir first to see if we vibe well before making any big decisions.

If you’re in the same boat or looking for a roommate with this kind of energy, shoot me a DM and let's talk!

Looking for a Roommate (or Roommates) in Casablanca - Ain Chock Area for a New Start & Studies

Hello everyone, I am a 19-year-old young man, very calm, easygoing, and responsible. I am moving to Casablanca to start a new chapter in my life and pursue my higher education there, specifically in the Ain Chock area.

Therefore, I am looking for a decent and reliable roommate to share an apartment with during this journey.
The goal of this post is to find someone who shares the same ambition and commitment. I am also completely open to forming a group of more than two people if we vibe well and share a mutual understanding. Gathering a small group of like-minded students or young professionals will not only create a great community but will also help us split the rent and living expenses efficiently, making it more affordable for everyone.

If you are a student or a young man looking to settle down in Ain Chock, and you value cleanliness, peace, and mutual respect for personal space, we would make a great match. I want to build a comfortable and supportive living environment that helps us focus on our studies and future.
If you are interested and have the same goals, please send me a DM so we can connect and discuss the details.

I am a 19-year-old from Morocco, and I’m currently going through a mental breakdown that I can’t seem to escape. I work 6 days a week on the night shift, and this schedule has completely destroyed my biological clock and my mental well-being. I dropped out of my studies this year to focus on working, with one goal in mind: to save enough money to move out, live alone in a different city, and fight my battles on my own terms.
I’ve dealt with deep-rooted family issues since I was a child. I grew up fearing my father to the point of hatred. Even though his treatment of me has improved recently, that old fear still lives inside me and fuels my desperate need to escape at any cost. I feel an overwhelming sense of guilt for pausing my education, feeling like I’ve wasted this year just trying to afford my "freedom."
Every now and then, I find myself going to the beach alone, just sitting there in silence, trying to forget everything. I often find myself crying alone at night for no clear reason—I just cry until I feel some sort of relief. I escape my reality through oversleeping or wasting time on meaningless things. I’m starting to suspect I might have ADHD or clinical depression because of this "paralysis." There’s a lyric by Moroccan artists Shayfeen & Xcep that says: "I started looking at who I am; am I who they wanted me to be, or who I wanted to be?" This haunts me. I don’t know if the goals I’m chasing are truly mine, or if I’m just trying to prove my existence to my family and friends.
I am torn between my desire to build my own projects and learn new things, and the state of total "paralysis" I’m in. Even social media has become a toxic cycle; I delete my accounts to find peace, but I always come back because of FOMO and the need to stay connected to my friends, until I’ve started feeling like I’m losing my mind.
I am going through a very dark time, and I am asking you to please put yourselves in my shoes and help me with these questions:

  1. What practical solutions or steps can I take to break out of this cycle of "paralysis" and start working on my projects again?
  2. How can I stop the "escapism" (sleeping and wasting time) and deal with the guilt of pausing my studies?
  3. How can I heal from childhood trauma and fear of a parent while I'm still living in the same environment?
  4. Is there anyone from another city who is also planning or thinking about moving to Casablanca? I’m looking for people who share the same ambition of starting over.
  5. How do I find out who I really am outside of everyone else’s expectations?
I really need your advice. Please be kind, as I’m struggling to keep my head above water.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to start my investing journey and I want to buy real stocks (specifically NVIDIA) and ETFs for the long term. I have a few specific requirements and I’m hoping to get some advice from the community:

No Leverage/CFDs: I want to own the underlying asset 100%. I am not interested in gambling or using leverage; I just want to buy with the cash I have.

Dividends: Since I want to hold for the long term, the broker must support dividend payouts for fractional shares.

Funding: I am a non-US resident (based in North Africa), so I need a broker that is accessible and has flexible deposit/withdrawal options (like Crypto/USDT or international cards).

Fees: Low to zero commission is preferred, and no hidden "overnight fees" for holding positions.

I've looked into Interactive Brokers, but the funding process seems complicated for my region. I've also checked Capital.com and Quantfury.

What would you recommend as the most "honest" broker that fits this profile? Thanks in advance!
