Thailand 60 day visa exemption changing really soon!

Hi everyone just wanted to give a little update for those planning on coming to Thailand longer than 90 days. They are reverting back to the 30 day visa exemption so that’ll mean you’ll be allowed 30 days plus a 30 day extension if you’re planning to stay longer.

It has not changed yet but the cabinet approved a change so in the near future we’ll get more details if they add more things.

Happy training

Yak Yai Muay Thai Update May 2026!

After 90 days we have another update!
We try to comment and post as much as possible to help the Muay Thai community but I’m still new to reddit haha.

We are 3 years + few months into business and are very thankful to have met a lot of you guys on Reddit and making great new friends through the journey of Muay Thai! We appreciate everyone who has taken a class with us!

Okay so here’s our update into middle of May (low season)

Class sizes have been about the same 15-20 in the morning and 18-20ish in the afternoon. Pretty good for low season! We still want to grow steadily and not want a surge out of nowhere so we hired an additional trainer making it 12 trainers. We also have a list of potential trainers in the future which are on standby if needed.

Kru Jak is our newest addition, from Buriram province he has fought all around including japan, France, China and of course Thailands prestigious stadiums. He is also a Muay khao specialist. He’s been a great addition and a lot of our members have positive feedback on him which we greatly appreciate!

A few more updates with our gym! We are in the middle of adding more exhaust fans to help with the heat, added more bags, hung up our uppercut wall bags onto our rings giving more space, and added a new Rower to our weight area which Ive been meaning to get one for the longest time.

Kc and I were a part of the first Sports Authority of Thailands training course for foreigners as a Muay Thai instructors. It was a great experience and we’ve met a few awesome people in the course.

Another note we are in the middle of getting certified by Sport Authority of Thailand as a 5 star certified gym. This process takes a bit of time so we hope to get it done by end of this year.

I believe that’s about it! I’ll be chiming in from time to time to give more updates on how our gym is growing and to help out on other posts!

Thanks for reading and we look forward providing more updates in the future.
