Hey guys, right now I am struggling in Patho (77.3%) after I got a 72 on the last exam and accidentally missed a homework assignment when our power was out after a big storm and didn't notify anyone in time to have my due date extended. It's my own fault, I am 7 weeks pregnant and already am dealing with what I think is HG and I am drowning a bit.

I am trying to recover and push for a higher score on the next exam and finish the rest of the semester strong, but am unsure if I can do it. I know I can pull of a C. The B is what I am worried about.

Has anyone here taken the C and still made it into the upper division program? Currently my other science courses are B A&PI, C Chem (I took Chemistry for Engineers at TCC when I was wanting to do EE), A A&P II, A Micro. Then A's in Intro to Nursing, Family Nursing, Nutrition, Public Health, Medical Terminology.

I feel so dumb?? The proctor denied me and did not send an explanation as to why. I signed back in, started again, and was removed again. Once again no explanation as to why. I was wearing a thin, white headband that did not cover my eyes or ears.

ATI Support sent me an email three hours later and said it was because all headbands are prohibited, and when I asked where that was stated outside of the Respondus sign in area where it said "all eyes, ears, and face must be visible" and mine were, they sent me a link about hijabs and other religious headwear and said it was under there.

I asked where it stated they were prohibited in the exam guidelines, which were sent to my email when I signed up for the test. They said it's in there. I sent them the link and screenshots asking where this is written. They responed again with the link regarding hijabs or other religious headwear, which isn't even sent in the testing instructions. It's a separate link on the website under FAQ's.

What the heck do I do now?

As the title states, if I am accepted into the Fall 2027 cycle all of my pre reqs will be completed. I will have nothing else to do until J1 starts. Are students allowed to complete any upper division coursework with permissions while waiting to start? I don't want to bug the advisors with another question today, haha.

Hey y'all, I asked this question last time but I think I need to ask again with more info. Maybe I'm asking again because I didn't like the answer the first time, haha.

I just finished all of my prereqs, and am getting ready to take Patho in the fall. Outside of patho, I have 8.05 points. If I get the B or higher, I'll be at an 8.55. Not partnered. I am in DFW.

If I retake chem, that shoots me up from an 8.05 (or 8.55) to an 8.55 or 9.05. For the Spring semester, AO, do I really need to put myself through that? Or should I just focus on patho?

As the title says, I would love to understand what a day in the life looks like for you, especially if you are in DFW.

My husband and I are trying to make plans for next August, assuming I am accepted into the program this coming Jan 15 application. We have two small children and I am worried about how I will plan childcare, and what those hours/days will even look like.

Hi! This question is for the upper level students, what shoes do you guys wear during your rotations? I have seen several posts mentioning Hokas and Cloves, but then saw a comment from someone saying they love their Crocs. I would love to wear a croc or similar waterproof clog if they are permitted. I have Hokas, but the idea of getting fluids on them or not being able to hose them off when I get home grosses me out, haha.

As the title says! I took Chemistry for Engineers at TCC and earned the most difficult 78 of my life. UTA accepted it as my General Chem Cred, as a C. Since enrolling at UTA I have completed my remaining science courses with a B in A&PI, A in A&PII, A in Micro, then I have also scored an A in Nutrition, A in Intro to Professional Nursing, and an A in Family Nursing. My cumulative GPA is a 3.7. I am currently enrolled to retake Chem in the Fall for a higher grade, but if I don''t have to retake it, it opens room for me to go ahead and jump into Patho before the Spring Deadline.

Does anyone have any advice? Thank you :)
