Advice pls !

Helloooo!

I wouldn’t say I am new to tea, if anything I’ve been drinking tea for a very long time and have quite the range of loose leaf teas at home.
but I feel like I don’t know much about details regarding oversteeping, ideal temperatures, steeping methods etc. sometimes I feel like my teas come out bitter or maybe I steep too many times.
my favorite teas are usually pu’erhs, oolongs, anything with a roasted taste. nothing fruity or slimey (like chamomiles or hibiscus.
any tips? I’d appreciate any and all words of advice
