Back in 2014 I had the highly respectable job as XO of a unit in the persian gulf. The col assigned me to make the coffee roster for the next month and present it at the morning meeting. I worked all night on this elegant power point, using my TBS skills, and wrote a full O'SMEAC in only 37 slides.
So now i'm rolling up to base with my thumb drive in my pocket, ready to present this thang, and I got caught in traffic. I tried honking alot, but they just ignored me. Firggin warning horns man, no effect, no idea.
I role up to the base gate, 15 minutes late and make a joke to my fellow teufels who apparently had a stick in there ass about it. they put me on the ground and everything, almost damaging my thumb drive.
Anyways, I gave the coffee roster brief late, but the Col loved it and said i'm his favorite, patted my behind and send me on my way. No more joking with those front gate prics
