Did anyone get BCG Chicago interview invite?

Have a referral for M from a senior partner in New York Office. However, I am based in Atlanta and would like to maximize my chances of getting an interview.

Will the NYC Partner referral be meaningful if I apply to Atlanta?

And if I apply to New York, will the competitiveness of NYC outweigh the referral?

Currently a sophomore at a target with a 3.7 GPA. I’m recruiting for consulting junior summer internships. Made it to final round at McKinsey, will apply to Bain, BCG, and Tier 2 (LEK, Kearney, Strategy&, Roland Berger, etc) in the summer. My bottleneck is getting the interview. Which internship should I take this summer to maximize those chances?

I am leaning towards the F500 because of brand name and prestige but also think that having AI on my resume could be a boost. Please help me out!!

As the title indicates, I interviewed today for McK SBA R1 in Chicago. First interview was mid and second interview I thought I did great. I finished interviews early afternoon, currently 6:30 CT, radio silence, am I cooked?
