Hi all,

I’m new to Murakami art but saw this piece at an auction, thought it looked cool, and bought it for around $650. Anybody have any info on this? Planning on just hanging on my wall regardless, but I’m curious what I have.

Prints marked with a "Shakespeare Arts London" stamp are generally not considered authentic, official Takashi Murakami fine art releases.

Within the established art market, these are widely treated as unauthorized reproductions or counterfeits.

What are we thinking on this one?

Notably, $248 retail, quartz caliber, a pair of fabric straps in black with red stripes and solid blue; quick-release spring bars; and 30m of water resistance.

Loved the watch from the start, but swapping the stock strap for a dark brown shrunken calf strap gives it a much more vintage, elevated look while still showcasing that artistic lighthouse dial.

Love the vintage look, the moonphase, and the little Patek homage while still having its own identity. Noah nailed this one.

New straps are custom from Artisan Straps. They were made with a latch system to allow for easy swaps since that middle lug is so pesky to deal with. Love how they turned out!

Finally had the chance to visit the new shop. It’s a big, beautiful space, and all the workers were so nice and helpful.

There were 2 LA exclusive tees: a chainstitch “Los Angeles” tee, and a basic tee with Noah in big letters and a picture of a California quail. The quality on the chainstitch tee is top notch.

The Timex watches are almost all cleared out. All they had left was the brown/silver oval model.

I got the oval moon phase watch a couple weeks ago and am obsessed with it. A beautiful piece, no doubt.

Now I’d love to add the lighthouse to the collection. If you have one, please let me know how much you want for it. Or, if you would be interested in trading for any of the 4 moon phase watches (tank or oval), let me know, and I can probably swing by the new LA store to make it happen.
