Important Read

I’m tired of seeing the recent shift in the community, specifically within one subreddit. It is becoming increasingly obvious that the narrative being pushed there is less about genuine community oversight and more about a coordinated effort to discredit one of the few sellers consistently delivering high tier, quality bags: Jim.

Business is supposed to be built on merit, not smear campaigns. When a seller struggles to compete on quality, the professional approach is to improve their product not to launch an obsession fueled critique of a competitor.

There is a serious trust deficit in this market. We all know how difficult it is to find sellers who actually deliver what they promise. When someone like Jim consistently delivers, it disrupts the model of sellers who rely on bait and switch tactics. Because they can’t match his quality, they’ve resorted to attacking his reputation.

Now, many of you have probably heard of Jim. He is well known for his high-tier, mirror quality H bags. He is honestly one of the very few sellers actually producing true level quality. He has grown to a point where no one can genuinely compete with him anymore, and because of that, the only option left for these so called sellers is to try to destroy his reputation, forgetting he has thousands of repeat clients who know the truth.

So what did they do? They created an entire sub dedicated to criticizing Jim like it is their full-time job. They are even deleting positive comments because they know the truth hurts their agenda. That is exactly what people like him are doing, stealing bag pictures from real customers, spreading fake rumors, writing false reviews, and pushing completely misleading narratives like misinterpreting minor, expected variations in handmade bags as flaws are highlighted to push an agenda.

Look at the growth of these platforms. When content focused on quality doesn't move the needle, the strategy shifts to manufacturing controversy to drive traffic. It’s a classic, if transparent, marketing tactic: tear someone else down to build yourself up.

Seriously, imagine being so incapable of producing a proper high tier bag that instead of fixing your own products, you spend your entire day spreading false claims and attacking another seller. It is honestly embarrassing.

How can these critics objectively evaluate craftsmanship when their own output is often limited by the same mass-production methods they try to pass off as "high tier"?

I’m sharing this because I value transparency. These accounts often share a specific pattern: hidden profiles, repetitive negative messaging, and a focus on damaging a competitor rather than showcasing their own craftsmanship. It’s embarrassing for the community to witness.

At the end of the day, the choice is yours. You can either follow agenda driven misinformation or put your trust in top sellers who has consistently proven his quality. You can choose to support machine made, mediocre products, or you can invest in the artisan crafted quality that actually delivers.

Choose wisely.

Before You Believe What You Read - You Need To See This

Hey everyone,

I am honestly tired of all the bullshit going on in the rep community right now in r/RepHermesQC, which is being run by u/hartofalyon - he came out from nowhere with an 11 year old account hide his profile recently most likely a seller itself which was badly hit bcz he's unable to produce high tier bags and most customers are going towards Jim so this dude decided to criticize Jim instead of producing better quality bags.

Business is supposed to have ethics, but this dude has none. He’s literally running a hate campaign because he can’t compete fairly. In this post, I'm going to say a lot of stuff that might upset some people, but it needs to be said, because it’s the sole truth.

There is a serious problem in this market. You simply cannot trust anyone here. You put your faith in a seller, buy from them, and before you know it, you've been scammed. We all know how deeply this market is plagued by dishonest people, it has gotten to the point where genuine trust is almost impossible to find.

And when one seller, one truly honest seller, actually delivers on their promises, the rest simply cannot stand it. Their entire business model is built on saying one thing and delivering something completely different. Instead of improving their own quality, these people decided to spend their days obsessing over Jim because their own sales are dying. Customers are moving toward Jim & why not, he's the best in this business and deserves this, I can say this bcz I bought 2 bags from Jim in last 6 months, and they simply cannot handle it.

Now, many of you have probably heard of Jim. He is well known for his high-tier, mirror-quality Hermès bags. He is honestly one of the very few sellers actually producing true artisan-level quality. He has grown to a point where no one can genuinely compete with him anymore, and because of that, the only option left for these so called sellers is to try to destroy his reputation, forgetting he has thousands of repeat clients who know the truth.

So what did they do? They created an entire sub r/RepHermesQC dedicated to criticizing Jim like it is their full-time job. They are even deleting positive comments because they know the truth hurts their agenda. That is exactly what people like u/hartofalyon are doing, stealing bag pictures from real customers, spreading fake rumors, writing false reviews, and pushing completely misleading narratives. He also knows very little about H bags given what I have read. H bags are fully handmade, there are always slight variations, deviations, etc; this is all part of the charm.

The numbers speak for themselves, the first time I ever visited his sub r/RepHermesQC, it had barely 27 visits per week 1 month ago. But ever since he started posting against Jim, it jumped to over 700 visits a week. That tells you everything. When his own content couldn't attract an audience, he decided that tearing someone else down was his best marketing strategy.

And honestly, how would they even know what a truly artisan-crafted bag looks like? They have never had the privilege of working with real craftsmanship, just the same rusty machines producing the same mediocre results.

I have personally purchased 2 bags from Jim, so I can say with full confidence that these posts are completely fabricated. These accounts have one goal and one goal only, to damage Jim's image and drive away his customers. And if you look closely, the pattern is obvious. Most of the accounts posting against him have their history hidden, and the ones that don't have profiles filled with nothing but the same repetitive hate directed at him.

Seriously, imagine being so incapable of producing a proper high-tier bag that instead of fixing your own products, you spend your entire day spreading false claims and attacking another seller. It is honestly embarrassing.

At the end of the day, the choice is yours. You can either believe these false, agenda-driven posts or put your trust in a seller who has consistently proven himself. You can either waste your money on machine-built, mediocre quality bags or invest in something truly worth it, a high-tier, artisan-crafted bag that actually delivers what it promises.

The decision is simple. Choose wisely.

So my bag finally arrived and I honestly couldn't wait to come back and share this. Those of you who saw my PSP post know how long I've been waiting for this moment. the anticipation was real and I checked my tracking way more times than I'd like to admit.

Mini Kelly in Vert d'eau Matte Alligator with GHW, honestly I don't even know where to start. I did a lot of research before settling on Jim, went through so many options and reviews before I even reached out. The bag arrived and it's exactly what I hoped for. Vert d'eau in person is a really pretty color, sits somewhere between mint and sage depending on the light. The matte alligator texture feels solid and quality, not plasticky at all. Hardware is weighty, clasp works perfectly, stitching is clean with no loose threads or uneven edges. Overall finish is really neat. Happy with it.
