Removing Parking Break

Removing Parking Break

Hey guys, I’m working on my 1986 Ford F150 (manual transmission) and the rear driver-side wheel is completely locked up and won't rotate. The parking brake pedal in the cab is released. I crawled underneath and took a picture of the backing plate area (attached). As you can see, the parking brake cable is completely disconnected/dangling free and isn't holding any tension from the outside, so the issue is entirely internal. The truck has solid steel rims on it, so I can't access or hit the front flat face of the brake drum through the wheel holes. What I’ve tried so far: Smacking the heavy outer lip of the drum from the backside with a hammer to shock the rust loose. Gently popping the clutch in Reverse to try and use engine torque to break the rust weld (being careful not to burn the clutch or stall out). The wheel is still frozen solid. Since I don't have a massive selection of tools out here with me, what is my best next move to get this thing rolling so I can move the truck? Should I try prying out the oval adjustment plug and backing off the star wheel, or is there a better trick? Thanks in advance for the help!
