Season on the line, free falling out of playoff contention, Outfielder gets hurt, and we call up... Alex Jackson? Genuinely baffled

Twins Starting Pitchers in the 1st Inning since the All Star Break: 25 IP, 22 R, 28 H, 13 BBs, 1 HBP, good for a 7.92 ERA and 1.68 WHIP

Very frustrating to watch, five 1 run losses in the span too

One of the many factors why the Twins have a 11-13 (included today's in progress game in the stat) record since the ASB is constantly leaking runs to begin the game, paired with very below average offense. It has been a very frustrating watch, especially since 5 games have been 1 run losses.

Twins picks in Rounds 1-10 [+ CB-B]: 2 Collegiate Bats, 1 High School P, and 8 Collegiate RHPs

C Vahn Lackey at pick 1.03

C Carson Tinney at 2.43 (not projected to end up at C, monster power hitter from the right side)

Then in classic Twins fashion (and has been somewhat successful), picks in Rounds 3-10 are all RHPs, with 8 of the 9 (they had a pick in Competitive Balance Round B) being from college.

Daniel Zebulon "Zebby" Matthews in his first MLB start of the year: 7.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R/ER, 1 BB, 5K

Extremely positive start after his call-up today

Ryan Jeffers has quietly been the 3rd best Catcher in the League. Batting 0.299 with a 0.948 OPS, 6 HRs, 25 RBIs, 14.7% BB%, 3rd in ABS challenges won.

He has been excellent offensively, catching more often than ever before, been great using ABS, and will certainly be one of the better Trade Candidates / Free Agents this off-season. I really hope the Twins are able to extend him.

The Twins went 35 batters, or 10 and 1/3 innings, between hits in their extra innings win over Cleveland. Byron Buxton had both hits: a leadoff 1st inning Home Run, and an extra innings RBI Double.

AL Central.

Also the Twins actually won an extra innings game in Cleveland. What.
