Hi! Does anyone know any good books for improving quick thinking?

I feel like I’m a slow thinker, and a lot of the time I understand or think of things a few seconds later. It honestly annoys me, so I’d like to improve my thinking and reaction speed. I’d really appreciate any book recommendations.

Does the airline pilot job market ever go down?

I’m planning to become a pilot and I’m worried the job market could be bad when I graduate.

Lifestyle of a pilot

deciding whether I wanna be a pilot or not because of the lifestyle. And I want to know what is life like being in different places all the time? I don’t just mean being away from home, but what is it actually like not being in one place regularly? Do you enjoy constantly seeing different places, or does it ever get tiring? what is the good and especially bad sides of being a pilot?

High school senior considering becoming a pilot — is the lifestyle actually worth it?

Hi! I’m a high school senior, and I’m currently deciding which career path I want to pursue.
I really like the idea of becoming an airline pilot, but I’m not completely sure if I actually like flying. What attracts me to the career is the lifestyle in some ways. I really like going to new places, being out, meeting new people, and making friends. I also like that it can be a good-paying career.
But I’m wondering what the lifestyle is actually like.
Do airline pilots really get many opportunities to explore new places and meet people, or are you mostly just working and staying at the hotel during layovers?
Also, how does being away from home for a few days at a time affect your personal life? Is it difficult not being home with your family regularly? And how does it affect relationships or having a partner in the future? I don’t have a partner right now, but I’m wondering if being a pilot makes relationships significantly harder.

I’m also a girl, so I’d especially love to hear from women pilots about their experiences. Does being a woman change anything about the lifestyle, relationships, or experiences you’ve had in the industry?

I know everyone has a different experience, but I’d really appreciate hearing from pilots about the good and bad sides of the lifestyle.
And if you could go back to when you were choosing your career, would you still choose this career? Why or why not?
