I think I got infected with the MrBeast malware/trojan what should I do?
Hi everyone. I’m looking for some advice because I’m honestly pretty worried about my PC and my accounts.
Yesterday I downloaded a file that I now believe was malware/trojan. I ran it on my Windows PC, and shortly afterwards I started noticing suspicious activity on some of my accounts. For example, my Instagram account was sending messages/screenshots to people without me doing anything, and I also noticed suspicious activity involving Discord. This made me think that the problem is coming from my computer rather than just one of the individual accounts.
I have already disconnected the PC from the internet. I’m currently trying to figure out the safest way to deal with this before I make things worse.
i already use Malwarebytes and the virus is on quarantine
