I have a girlfriend whom I love (6 months). We were very active sexually. I had genital warts a few years ago, got them removed and got the vaccine.

I now have three warts, visible on my scrotum. I fear that she already got HPV from me, however she doesn't have warts yet.

I'm in a country that genital warts are still a taboo. And she has medical anxieties. Even though I get the cryotherapy she will notice the red marks, right?

Rather than breaking down the news to her, I want to break up and terminate the relationship. Even though I love her.

I'm in a terrible state mentally.

Hi I'm a 29 yo male.

I had my first warts while I was 21. I had a girlfriend of 4.5 years back then. Didn't have sex with anyone else before, I was her first partner as well. Don't think she cheated on me, I blame that I stayed at dorm. Back then, those warts were very large. She never developed warts. Didn't know it was HPV. Then I got them removed. I also got three shots of Gardasil-9.

After that I started another relationship. Didn't have any warts and she didn't have them in the course of relationship as well (3 years). She also had a smear test and no sign of HPV.

1.5 months ago I started a new relationship. This week I had a kidney stone surgery and realized some small warts. I already had sex with her. I am terrified that she will also develop warts and we break up or something. I don't want to hurt her. Very anxious about this. Hope she has the vaccine.

What are the chances of her developing genital warts? And what is best way for me to deal with this situation?

P.S.: I live in a country with high stigma against HPV and STIs.
