You twist the top plate to open or close the jaws. It uses a magnetic ratchet to hold the jaws in place. Not the strongest due to it being 3d printed, but it works!

Any tips for using Full Field with the Metro Y? I am getting terrible results compared to the Inspire 2 (First image is Metro Y, second is Inspire 2, same setup, marker tracking). I was hoping the Metro Y would be a full replacement but so far my experience with Full Field is it's entirely unusable on the Metro Y.
