Bearded dragon setup

i am currently trying to gather the materials for a proper home for a bearded dragon i’ll be getting in the future. i have researched a lot, and so far i’ve settled on:

  • Tank: 120gal (4’2’2’ you know the usual)
  • Substrate: topsoil + play sand mix
  • Basking bulb holder thingy: fluker’s reptile clamp lamp w/ dimmer, 8.5in
  • Basking bulb: exo terra sun-glo halogen basking bulb. 75w
  • UVB: arcadia t5 36in uvb; 14% dragon. this is the part i’m most unsure about. the tank has a steel mesh top; i plan on putting this on top of the steel mesh. if 14% seems like too much for that, let me know. also is 36in too long???
  • Monitoring devices: thermometers hygrometers thermometer guns etc
  • Other stuff: rocks and branches and places for the little guy to climb on.

would this be adequate? is there anything else that i could get that would help? or any tips/advice?

(also i’ve never used reddit in my life so if i did anything wrong then oops)
