Separation exam

Well it’s coming down to the wire for me to leave the area and what I did not plan for was separation medical. I am about to leave the area for a 6 month skillbridge however medical will not allow me to do my sep medical until the 180 day mark. As far as they said and my chain have said is somehow you can do it at another base or the VA. Note I’m in the navy and the area I’m going to does have an mtf within 50 miles on an Air Force base. No real guidance on how to get this done but I am checking out of the area and would like to know if anyone has experience with this and where I can do my separation physical.

AC2RC

I have a couple questions about the AC2RC conversion and what will essentially happen to me. Background I am an AT2 on active duty and will get out in December 2026. Currently I am trying to work with my CCC to get a reserves CWAY quota but it seems they are not familiar with doing these conversions. I say that because the NRC recruiter and CCC are not on the same page at all so I figured I would ask here to verify it is correct. CCC currently is routing a 1306 to unflag my record and get a CWAY quota for CWT as that was something that CWAY had open and I qualify for. Now should I get approved and join the reserves I have one other question. Will i lose eligiblity for advancement and will my TIR reset? Thank you for your help I unfortunately do not have a knowledgable CCC right now as they are not even an NC. No disrespect to them but I feel I am mostly on my own.
