Broadway and 6th St., looking east along Broadway. Opening day of the Kentucky State Fair, 1932.
Uniformed officers on motorcycles escort a stack of electric streetcars loaded with people headed westbound down Broadway. Most of the buildings you can see have long since been demolished, but in the background the Heyburn Building and the corner of the Brown Hotel are still visible.
