TTX or TTA?

I've been eyeing a new rear for awhile now, but am really not sure which is will be the best replacement for my tango (which is feeling like it may be on its last legs after over a year of consistent use).

I was about to just go ahead and get the TTX, but was recommended to look at the TTA as an alternative. I need to decide on something quickly because I want a new tail for Ladiga at the end of the month, but also I want to get the right tail.

My setup right now: Bandito with Scythe Crusader v2 front, tango rear, on Karmas.

Me: ~140 lb / 63kg. 5'7" / 1.7m

TTX pro is that it'll be easier for me (not an elite rider / pumper) to use. Also lots of opportunity to tinker with bushings, etc.

TTX con is proprietary axle (idk how often you need new ones) and, from what I hear, is a pain in the ass to swap wheels out.

TTA is definitely too stiff for me in the stock config, but I have heard that it should be fine with swapping to softer bushings (both cube and tall cone). If that's the case, any recommended duro?

Would appreciate any thoughts on this before I commit either way.

Edit: I initially order the TTX based on your recommendations and other research. Mark from Gbomb reached out on a separate issue (silver vs black) and we ended up having a conversation that led to him recommending the TTA on the softest (purple) bushings given my use case (Miami + Ladiga). I ended up going for his recommendation -- both very excited and very nervous! Will keep the tango with me just in case 😄
