Planning to move to Tasmania
Hi there I’m 27F, originally from Malaysia (however mum is an Australian from Tassie), have lived most of my adult life in Singapore working and now studying. My background is in the arts- graphic design and now I’m doing a masters in art history.
Since living in Singapore I’ve saved up some money (about 50k) but have grown a bit distant from the fast paced life here. I am hoping to move and settle in Tasmania in the near future. I love the nature and the quiet lifestyle there.
*Edit: I’ve spent many summers in Tasmania for Christmas with my family and always loved it. However- I do understand living there and having a stable career is a different story
I would love to hear any notes or takes on how feasible it might be to move there once I get a citizenship (via citizenship by descent through my mum)- and then find a job preferably in the arts/gallery/museum sector or even in other fields which pays decent and can afford a modest but comfortable life. Ideally in the future being able to buy a property.
