Where to start question

So, long story short, we hired a pool guy this year because it would be "easier". Well, he has been a giant goddamn flake. He would show up one day, do a little bit, say something to the effect of "I threw some stuff in, and I will be back tomorrow to check on it." Then never show up. Or better yet, in this guy's case, show up five days later without calling, texting or confirming and then get snarky that we're not home to let him in. And before I get the 'well that's why you have to get a good pool guy.' He was highly recommended and had solid ratings.

I digress. He's fired, but now I am in a shitshow position.

Free Chlorine - .12
Total Chlorine - .12
ph - 7.5
Total Alkilinity - 111
Calcium Hardness - 149
CYA - 5
Iron and Copper both .1
Phosphates - 734
Roentgens - 3.6

So yeah, we have an algae problem. Should I shock first, or should I do phosphate remover first? This is the first time we've had an algae problem. Or do we just drain and start over? I already know what a pain in the neck it is to open up our pool - hence, trying to hire someone this year. It's 20,000 gallons, old, and has a giant deep end.

Hi, so I am thinking about making a hard pivot from the tech world and into something else with the rise of AI and the tightening white collar market. Anyway, I know there are a ton of posts on residential trash can cleaning but what about commercial dumpsters? My thought was scrub, pressure wash, water pump to get the water back out and then deodorize.

Anyone have any experience with this? What would be the angle?
