Abt a year ago on my birthday, I had one of those nights that genuinely felt like a fever dream.

And the guy I was with, a massive fan. Like the kind that knows every B-side and looks personally offended if you skip a track. Meanwhile I was just a casual listener back then.
Anyway. Morning comes. We’re both still drunk, sitting on this random sofa after being awake the entire night.
Then somehow we started talking about our favourite songs of all time.
And he goes, “listen to this properly,” and plays Cornerstone.
Idk if it was the fact I had the best sex ever or me being drunk.
but that song permanently lodged itself into my brain.
