So i broke my hand back in January 2026 and crashed my motorcycle. Got this plate in hand with 8 screws. My doctor suggested surgery after 1 year ( january 2027) alternatively i can keep it forever.

I don't have any pain as of now and i am able to ride again fine. I Just wanted to know if this might have any future issues if i keep it forever. My doctor told me i cannot remove it later as it will be covered in calcium so i only have this 1 window for removal of plates.

Can anyone with a similar thing let me know their experience??
