Mahakal Darshan with Infant

Hi, in September's 3rd week my family is planning to go to Mahakal's darshan for Bhasm Aarti. Will it be okay to take my 6months old daughter to take there? I know there are dress codes for Bhasam aarti but will there be any for infants? Also, it would be Friday or Saturday.

Flute Tutor

Hey everyone, looking for someone who can teach how to play flute. It would be great if it could be around Canntt area, but other options can also be considered. Any leads would be appreciated.

Spiti: Need advice

Hey everyone,

We are 3 guys planning our first Spiti trip in the 2nd week of June and would love some advice/tips from experienced travelers.

We’ll be going in our own car — Hyundai Alcazar Diesel.

Planned route:

Delhi → Narkanda → Kalpa → Tabo → Kaza → Chandratal → Manali → Delhi

Skipping Chitkul since I’ve already been there before.

Budget is around ₹30-35k per head, and we’re planning a relaxed road trip instead of rushing.

A few things we’d love guidance on:

- How are the road conditions generally in the 2nd week of June?

- Is 8N9D sufficient?

- Is the Alcazar diesel good enough for the terrain and water crossings?

- Any sections where we should be extra careful?

- Fuel availability and must-carry essentials?

- Any acclimatization tips for first-timers?

- Is Chandratal usually accessible around that time?

- Recommended stays/food spots along the route within our budget?

- Any permits or documents we should keep handy?

- Any hidden gems or must-do experiences on this route?

Would appreciate any practical advice or mistakes to avoid for first-timers.

Thanks!
